Child support and parenting plan
For children, you have to want to make good arrangements. They benefit from chaos not being a part of their lives and formation. On financial issues, a visitation arrangement, co-parenting, school choices and health matters, they cannot yet make a decision. That responsibility rests on the shoulders of every parent.
Please note that allowances for school expenses, tax credits, child budget and rent allowance go to one parent. The same goes for child support. Record the agreements you make about this in the parenting plan.
Pension distribution
What entitlements do you and your former partner have to each other’s pensions? What effect will this have on future financing for you? We calculate it for you.
Joint residence
If you own a house with your ex-partner, you are jointly responsible for paying the mortgage payments. Does one of you want to continue living in the house? Then the mortgage must be put in one name. Whether that is possible depends on income and whether the bank agrees. In cases of divorce, the bank is often willing to look at such a request. We help convey your request in a well-supported manner.
What belongs to whom? What is meant by joint assets? How are debts distributed? What about future tax returns and refunds? Are you entitled to allowances or not? What will you do with life insurance? Can it be taken out completely and what will happen to the value built up in it? Is it wise to take one out yourself now? What are my options now that I am on my own or want to move on again with another person? Is there anything I can buy?
For all of the above questions and more, you’ve come to the right place. You can trust us to help you through it, on your way to a new future.
